School of Hope is a registered independent school (Reg No: 13/3/1/165). Our learners are either former street children or are vulnerable in their communities. As a result they may have missed a substantial amount of their education and might be up three years older than the other learners in their class.

Graceland Pre-School: Most learners attending this school are the children of farm workers from the surrounding wine lands. Some of the children have learning disabilities, from Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS attributed to the use or abuse of alcohol during pregnancy), to impaired hearing, attention deficit disorder (hyperactive), and many more. These children need special care and attention.
